The mmiddle school Soccer Black Team had a dominant win against Village Christian winning 8-2, with two goals from Brooks Resnikoff ’30, a goal from Andrew Wang ’30, a two goals from Alexander Chao ’31, a two goals from Seth Yadidi ’30, and goal from Sahil Gandhi ’30. The game started slowly but quickly after the first goal from Resnikoff they got hot. By halftime the Wolverines had a dominant lead and were focused on finishing the game.
“I felt good,” Gandhi said, “We were playing together and we all played a part in beating them.”
The Wolverines have had many dominant wins this year with a record of 4-0 so far. This includes a 9-1 win against Oaks Christian, a 6-0 win against Paul Revere, and a 6-0 win against Heritage Christian
“It feels good winning all these games with such a big margin,” Resnikoff said, “I am excited to see how the rest of this season goes.”
The team has many bright goals for the future and many players each want to work on an individual thing.
“As a team I hope we can replicate our success from last year and as a player I want to get more open opportunities to score goals,” said Gandhi.
