The Harvard-Westlake varsity boys’ tennis team made it to the finals of the CIF regionals tournament this spring season with contributions by 9th graders.
Miller Levin ’28, got to experience a CIF final against University High School – Irvine.
“It was pretty awesome being at the CIF tennis tournament as a freshman,” said Levin.
Even though the team did not win, students speak positively of their season.
“We lost the finals, which was disappointing, but this year was not a fail. We have a unique and special team and I’m excited for the years ahead,” said Autrin Anousheh ‘28.
The boys tennis team practiced three times a week and built a strong bond that contributed to their promising season.
“Being a freshman on varsity has been challenging, but the coaches and guys are great and really inspired me,” said Anousheh. Even though Anoush
eh was the youngest on varsity the coaches and teammates were welcoming and had an impact on him.
