English teacher and field hockey program head Erin Creznic gave birth to her second son. Augustus George Noble-Creznic was born in Providence Tarzana Hospital on Nov. 9 at 12:41 p.m. Augustus weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.
For the past few weeks, Creznic said she has gotten to know Augustus and they have already created memories together.
“I just love holding [him] on my chest while he sleeps,” Creznic said in an email.
Besides Augustus, Creznic also has a four-year-old son, Theo. With two children now, Creznic said she is taking her time away from school to adapt to her new busy schedule.
“While life will certainly be crazier with two little boys, I suspect that they will always keep it interesting and fun,” Creznic said.
Theo, Creznic’s toddler son, is getting used to the new addition to the family and being a big brother.
“He loves being a big brother. He constantly wants to hold or kiss the baby. He’s very sweet with little Gus,” Creznic said.
Creznic said she is excited to see her kids grow up together in the future with her newly expanded family.
During Creznic’s maternity leave, English teachers Damaris Saenz and Michael Chavez will cover her eighth grade classes.
Creznic plans on returning to campus at the start of the fourth quarter.
“I miss aspects of school, but I’m really enjoying and [am] grateful for this time to bond with my new son,” Creznic said.
