Jack Manuel ‘29 is a student athlete who plays football. He grew up around football, and he has been playing center since 8th grade, but he has been playing football since 1st grade. He enjoys football because he believes football teaches good values such as brotherhood, toughness, and taking advice/adapting. When asked what Jack is doing when he’s not studying or playing sports, he is watching sports or playing games. Some great qualities about Jack is that he’s smart, easygoing, and a great friend. If he could play one other sport it would be baseball. Jack’s idol in his life is his dad, and he looks up to him because he is a hard working immigrant that started his own family and is a provider for his family. Jack’s goals in life are simple. Start a family and make a career in sports media. He started Introduction to Media because he wants to do broadcasting at the upper school.
