On Thursday, Sept. 14 the opener of the Calm Crew Club happened at tables in the shade outside Bing first floor. Calm Crew Club advisers Sidney Kohls, Cindy Bates and Tina Cleveland, and the middle school counseling team created this event. More than 25 students participated.
“I came to the calm crew club because I saw it in the bulletin and wanted to have a relaxing time with my friends,” Charlie Engelberg ’28 said.
This was a very hands-on activity.
“I came to the club because I love making bracelets and it sounded like a fun club. It is a nice way to take a break from school and feel calm,” Charlotte Im ’27 said.

Sophie Ro, ’28, is a second-year reporter for The Spectrum. She has enjoyed writing since elementary school, and her life has always been influenced by the entertainment and literacy industries due to her family’s professions.
