Jasiri Johnson, ’27, Volleyball player

Jasiri Johnson ’27 plays for the Harvard-Westlake’s middle school volleyball team. Although Johnson only began playing on a team in 5th grade after a positive experience during elementary school recess, his passion for the sport quickly developed thereafter.

“To me, volleyball means relaxation and friendship because I’ve made a lot of valuable friends playing the sport,” Johnson said.

Johnson has a love of the game’s simplicity, and emphasis on teamwork. He currently fills the libero position on the team, and plans on continuing to play throughout high school.
