Make this summer better than any you have ever had with these awesome plans!
The summer is full of adventures and fun times with family and friends. Some of these places and events will make this an unforgettable summer experience.
1. I am a huge soccer fan, so if you are in Los Angeles on June 14 and are a huge soccer fan then you’re in luck. The Concacaf gold cup is taking place at Sofi Stadium where Mexico battles it out with the Dominican Republic. You can purchase tickets on StubHub so get them before they sell out. This is an extremely exciting matchup because this match has been rescheduled, and the build-up towards this will be huge for those supporting these teams. https://www.hw.com/summerprograms/Coldwater-Arts
2. On the 4th of July, parties all around are unbelievable, but for free you can witness one of the most highly rated 4th of July events at the famous Grand Park’s 4th of July event. This event is free of cost making it accessible for everybody, and it is in the middle of beautiful Downtown Los Angeles. It is the whole package, and has everything you need for a great night: music, food trucks, and activities before the astounding fireworks show. There is no age requirement so this day could become the best day of your summer.
3. This summer, Griffith Park will be a hotspot because of the variety of wildlife and the astonishing views from the hiking trails. The most popular hiking trail there is called Runyon Canyon with views of downtown LA and the San Fernando Valley. This is also a cost free pet-friendly trail to enjoy with your friends, or even come with family to enjoy this trail and park.
4. On June 8, there is a unique opportunity to have a picnic at the Rose Bowl where there have been unbelievable concerts, football games, huge parade events, and much more. You would be able to feel the history of this stadium while having a great day out. It seems amazing to be able to visit a beautiful place and great food for the day.
5. When thinking about the summer mindset, art may come to mind which is why the Harvard Westlake Coldwater Arts program is such a great option for those in grades 7-12. There are several camps running through the entire summer such as the sewing program, screenwriting program, and even a 3D arts program. The prestigious school of Harvard Westlake makes a great and fun program, and for a full week of this camp the price ranges from $375-$725. So if you are available for a week to have a great time, this is a great offer to meet new people and learn new artistic abilities.
