Meya Lei ’29 is a multi talented student whose passions include music, sports, and media. A talented cellist, she plays in the Middle School Symphony where she enjoys both performing and hanging out with friends. She’s also a skilled fencer who plays regularly outside of school. Meya is also a part of HWTV where she can be seen broadcasting sports events.

Her interests extend beyond the campus. She loves travelling frequently and has recently visited three different continents. At home, she enjoys walking with her 5 year old dog Scout and watching episodes of Modern Family. Her love of journalism stems from a desire to spread accurate and truthful information throughout the student body. She believes she can help to achieve this goal through the amplification of individual voices. This year, Meya hopes to sharpen interviewing techniques, refine her composition skills, and ultimately continue her journey by writing for the Chronicle in High School.
