Luc Thomas ’29 is an avid soccer player, and is on the Harvard-Westlake Junior varsity team. Before playing soccer, Thomas had competed in gymnastics for eight years, and even took part in the national Junior Olympics multiple times. In terms of media, Thomas loves photography, specifically, taking photos of sports and athletes. Thomas joined HW media because he wants to upgrade his photography skillset and to learn new styles. Additionally, Thomas’s older sister had been doing journalism for a few years, and he’s been eager to do the same ever since. Thomas stated,

“Ever since my sister started media, I wanted to follow in her footsteps. Now that I have this opportunity , I’m excited to get started.” 

Thomas also shared that his mother is from New Orleans, and that his dad was born in Philadelphia. When asked about which city he would rather live in for the rest of his life, he responded,

“Definitely New Orleans. I love the culture.”
