Emma Gonzalez ’29 is a Harvard Westlake athlete who plays on the school’s water polo team. Emma has been dedicated to the sport for two years, but outside of school she also enjoys boxing. She also loves music, especially artist Billie Eilish, her favorite song is “wildflower” on Billie’s new album. In her free time at home Emma plays with her dog Marley. She is a avid movie watcher, her favorites being the Twilight Saga. Gonzalez is eager to start writing articles and begin her journalism career. She hopes to write in The Chronicle next year at the upper school. 

Gonzalez said,〝I want to write for the spectrum because reporting seems fun… I am most excited to report about the events at school like drama, fun events, and getting to create podcasts in the brand new podcast room.〞
