Saskia Hill ’29 is a ninth grader and a new reporter for the Harvard-Westlake Spectrum. She brings curiosity, creativity, and a fresh voice to the newsroom. Hill is a dedicated member of the cross country team. Saskia also leads the MiXD Club, an affinity group that helps students of mixed heritage connect and feel represented. She is deeply passionate about journalism and joined to share new perspectives, while already helping run social media for the school’s sports teams.

Outside of reporting, Hill fills her time with a variety of activities. She participates in a Model UN team. She loves spending time with friends and with her older brother before he leaves for college. Traveling is one of her favorite things, especially trips to the beach, where she enjoys surfing at Venice and the Palisades.

Saskia can’t wait to begin working on new articles and is excited to make her mark on the Spectrum this year.
