Sweet Rose Creamery is an iced dessert favorite all throughout Los Angeles, attracting anyone who wants a delicious frozen treat. The Studio City location is adorned with paintings on the wall and has an outdoor patio with picnic tables and lighting. Named after the owners’ daughter, the shop provides a variety of flavors including customer favorites such as salted caramel, fresh mint chip and cookies and cream. Favored “chef’s picks” flavors include butterscotch with toasted walnuts, spiced pumpkin and earl grey.
A few dairy-free and vegan assortments include vanilla coconut and orange mango. As opposed to many ice cream shops in Southern California, Sweet Rose also offers other desserts such as frozen bananas, sundaes, soda floats and milkshakes for those whose interests are not piqued by ice cream or would like to try something new.
Some popular dairy-free sweets are the frozen bananas, which are covered from top to bottom in dark chocolate and come with optional peanuts and coconut shavings. The prices range from one regular scoop being $4.75 to a pint being $11. With a sweet and entertaining ambience, Sweet Rose Creamery is sure to win over any crowd, young or old.
