What do you do here?
I am the orchestra teacher.
How long have you been here?
This is my fourteenth year.
What is your favorite part of working here?
Definitely the community of people here. I love the students and I love the faculty
What are some of your hobbies?
I love cooking, it’s my favorite thing to do outside of music. I also love movies.
If you could be any kitchen utensil, what would you be?
I would be a kitchen aid mixer. I eat with my younger son and we bake a lot together.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to never get tired because i feel like i can never get anything done in a day that I really need to get done.
If you could change your name to anything what would it be?
I don’t think I would want to change my name. I like my name.
What is your dream job?
This is my dream job. I know it sounds cliché, but I love it. I love teaching and I love music, so this job is like the two things I love put together.
What is your biggest fear?
I’m totally afraid of roaches; they freak me out. Any roaches, mice, or rats totally freak me out.
Do you have any nicknames?
My sister calls me Wheeze because my middle name is Louise.
Favorites:
Food/dessert- I love all different types of food, but my favorite food would be Sushi
Movie- Rocky
TV show- I don’t watch that much TV, but I love Top Chef.
Book- My favorite book is probably where the sidewalk ends by Shel Silverstein. It’s so funny and i have good memories from when I was a kid reading it with my sister and my two sons, they read it to each other and they crack up. It’s just one of those books that make me crack up
Music- Classical.
Place to travel- I love going anywhere, but over the summer I went to Prague, and that was just amazing.
Pet/animal- I love greyhound dogs.
