Sydney Lee ’29, Reporter
Sydney Lee ’29 is a first-year reporter for The Spectrum, who enjoys baking, playing poker, and playing with her dog in her free time.
In addition to writing for The Spectrum, she is a leader of the HW Christian Club, and a part of the Novice Lincoln Douglas debate team, as well as the Varsity Swim and Dive program.
She started her writing journey as an eager reader and creative writer, frequently submitting short stories for contests, and her middle school’s literary journal. Coming to Harvard Westlake she decided to combine her love of writing, meeting others, and photography to begin to cover stories for The Spectrum. She sees being a journalist as a way to get involved with the HW community and events, and spread not widely known information for all interested.
