Chloe Kim hits a far shot at the Weddington range.

Chloe Kim ’27 is a member of the middle school girls golf team. She started at a young age, introduced by her father, eventually leading to her gaining a long-term interest in the sport. In the six years that she has been playing, golf has created a stronger bond connecting her and her family more. For Kim, golf creates a sense of competitiveness that is both challenging but unifying at the same time.

“For me, golf demonstrates sportsmanship and it has really helped me spend more time with the people that I care about,” Kim says.

In her later years, she hopes to continue playing in the future, perhaps by professionally playing the sport.
