Summer Park ’27 is a dancer at Harvard Westlake.
Her passion for dance began when she was just 3 years old and has been pursuing her love for the sport ever since. She loves the active and challenging aspects of dance and views it as an opportunity to relieve stress and lift her attitude. Ballet is Summers’ favorite genre and the one she first participated in during her first experiences with the art. She continued to grow and excel at it later in her dance journey and began to ameliorate at contemporary.
“I hope to share with other people that dance can mean so much more than just simple movements,” Park. “It can create a story.”
She notes that ballet is always something she can turn to and hopes to improve and advance her skills even more in the future
