Thursday: Tenth Muse

The Tenth Muse had its first meeting of the year on Thursday, Sept. 22. About 20 people came to the information session, where possible themes were discussed.
The Tenth Muse is a literary art magazine sponsored by Jen Bladen, the yearbook and Spectrum adviser, that collects creative work from students. The Tenth Muse meets every Thursday during break in Hazy 313 and is currently looking for literary art submissions from students. From 2D/3D art to poems or prose, students work together on the Tenth Muse. This year, the Tenth Muse is planning on doing a gallery-like theme where different artworks will be showcased virtually. Students, parents, and others will be able to page through the gallery, similar to a museum.
“Our mission is to get expression out for an audience,” Bladen said.
