Sophie Ro, ’28, is a second-year reporter for The Spectrum. She has enjoyed writing since elementary school, and her life has always been influenced by the entertainment and literacy industries due to her family’s professions. Her grandfather traveled the world, bringing back photographs from his trips, which sparked her interest in exploring new places and sharing stories through writing. Ro began her journalism career in sixth grade by launching a podcast. She is also passionate about sports commentary, particularly soccer, which she has played since fourth grade. A natural leader, Ro has also served as class senator for the past three years.
