Mila Goor '29

Mila Goor ’29

Mila Goor ’29 is a young, aspiring journalist who is both a student and an athlete. A basketball player for 5 years, she competes for the junior varsity team at Harvard-Westlake. Mila is able to dunk (on an 8.5 foot rim). She aspires to join Big Red for sports writing and broadcasting, but is also interested in writing for the Chronicle. 

“I’m excited to broadcast all sorts of games at the upper school. But I’m also excited to write for the Chronicle, it sounds like a fun experience.” 

Apart from academics and athletics, she enjoys listening to pop music. One of her favorites includes Billy Joel. She is known for wearing a harmonica necklace and yes, she does take requests. Mila also enjoys making films. She is in Video Storytelling and has made several movies. Mila likes to say:

“If you’re suffering from boredom, maybe you’re bore-dumb.”
