Maddie Saada '27 is part of HW Media. Maddie has been participating in various parts of HW Media for a little over a year. Maddie met yearbook adviser Jen Bladen on a 7th-grade class trip. She got into journalism through the advice of Bladen, and since then has developed a passion for it.
“I got into Journalism with the help of Ms. Bladen. She encouraged me to do the yearbook and so I did yearbook last year ” Saada said.
Maddie is interested in finding and revealing unique perspectives. Some other things that Maddie is passionate about is getting multiple different viewpoints on the same issue, in order to create stories that don’t just show one perspective. Maddie has past experience with yearbook and has discovered that that's one of her favorite types of media.
“My favorite type of media to work with is yearbook,” Saada said.
