Leela Kandavel ’28 is a freshman joining the staff of The Spectrum for the first time. She has been singing since age 6 and has played volleyball for about four years. Kandavel, who incorporates writing into her daily life, lists English as her favorite subject. She was inspired to pursue journalism by her brother. As a reporter, Kandavel hopes to develop her media skills and provide factual and engaging information.
