Halyn Kim, ’28 is a first-year freshman writer for The Spectrum. She aspires to inform, connect, and give a voice to people in her community.

“I want to speak up for those in minorities and provide a voice,” Kim said.

She enjoys both listening to and composing music and has a deep passion for writing, frequently entering her creative pieces in competitions. At home, she relaxes and enjoys spending time with her Labrador, Cookie. Kim hopes to write for The Chronicle when she transitions to the upper school next year.
