Beckham Williams ’28 is a reporter and writer who aims to inform and engage readers by providing important and relevant information. Williams sees journalism not just as reporting but as a powerful form of self-expression. Emphasizing the value of sharing one’s voice, he said, “I think that it’s important to use and express yourself whenever you can, including through journalism.”

Beyond journalism, Williams has a wide range of academic interests, enjoying science, math, English and history. In his free time, he can often be found playing tennis or reading a diverse selection of books. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue his passion for journalism by writing for The Chronicle at the Upper School.
