An Affinity for JCAAC

Harvard-Westlake’s Jewish Culture & Anti-Semitism Awareness Club (JCAAC) is a place for Harvard-Westlake students, both Jewish and non-Jewish to celebrate Judaism. Through various events such as Friday night Shabbat to interesting discussions Jewish Club engages students and cultivates a unique learning environment.

Jewish Club is a safe space for Jewish people to talk about the Jewish experience and be their authentic selves. However, students from all religious backgrounds are encouraged to join in. It also works in partnership with the Jewish Student’s association at the Upper School and Harvard-Westlake Jewish family alliance (HWJFA).

“The conversations we have at JCAAC are crucial in building a safer future for the Jewish community,” Camryn Banafsheha ’27 said. “It is the perfect outlet to raise awareness and become educated on current and past events.”
