It’s National Chili Week!!

FUNNY FAILS (EDITION #5):

“I was walking down the stairs when I tripped on my laces and fell. I almost ran into a dean as I rolled down the stairs.”

“My teammates and I had to catch the bus to the upper school for a swim meet. We missed the bus so another driver offered to take us to the upper campus. By the time we got to practice, the rest of the team (and the coach) was sitting on the bleachers and waiting for us.”

Tali Gurule, Editor

Tali Gurule ’27 is an editor and reporter on the Spectrum. Gurule is passionate about news reporting. “I love uncovering compelling stories and sharing them with the Harvard-Westlake community,” Gurule said. Gurule also co-writes Wolverweek, a weekly column about life at the Middle School. Gurule enjoys many leadership positions at Harvard-Westlake. In addition to being editor of the Spectrum, she is co-chair of the student ambassador program and a leader of LAHSO and JCAAC.

Camryn Banafsheha

Camryn Banafsheha ’27 is a first year Spectrum reporter. She enjoys interviewing people, and she truly loves to write as a part of the journalism team. She started off writing as a hobby and loves to write formally for school. She writes the weekly Wolverweek, which gives an overview of the week’s events, athletics, and some funny fails from students. Banafsheha plans on joining the Chronicle at the upper school and to continue pursuing her passion for journalism.
