The Community Service Club’s Valentine’s Day bake sale on Feb. 11 drew students from every grade, offering a selection of cupcakes and cookies to raise funds for families and individuals affected by the recent Southern California fires.
During break, students gathered around tables loaded with baked goods, eager to contribute to the cause.
“I love helping the community, so donating any bit I can, knowing that I can help, is a good idea,” said Philo Hornby-Simmons ’28.
According to NPR, more than 100,000 homes were lost in the Los Angeles fires. In response, the Harvard-Westlake community has come together to support those in need.
