With her role as head of deans, Ms. Fukushima plays a vital role in fostering a positive academic and social environment for all students and teachers. She helps maintain a crucial balance between academic focus and personal growth. Ms. Fukushima spends much of her time in meetings to plan upcoming events while also prioritizing strong relationships with students and faculty. She manages daily meetings and administrative tasks to ensure that policy guidelines are fairly applied to life at Harvard-Westlake. Additionally, she supports clubs such as the Asian American Cultural Club, serving as a key leader. With her thoughtful and caring approach, Ms. Fukushima ensures that Harvard-Westlake students succeed not only academically but also as individuals.
