On Friday, Sept. 30, during ninth period, the middle school celebrated Spirit Day ahead of the big Homecoming game. Spirit Day featured activities and surprises for all of the students. The setup involved a lot of planning and preparation, with senator Sophie Ro, Class of 2028, saying, “All the senators had to skip their breaks and spend most of their free period to make sure everything single detail was perfect.”
The festivities began with an assembly where students and staff competed in a Masked Singer competition.
“The performances were all great, and it helped me get hyped up for Homecoming,” said Millan Ramesh, Class of 2029.
After the assembly, students headed to the field for activities including Gaga Ball, Spike Ball, and dunking their favorite history teacher. The event was overall a success and captured the Wolverine spirit.
