On Friday, Sept. 30, during ninth period, the middle school celebrated Spirit Day ahead of the big Homecoming game. Spirit Day featured fun activities and surprises for all of the students. The setup took considerable effort, with senator Sophie Ro, Class of 2028, saying, “All the senators had to skip their breaks and spend most of their free period to make sure every single detail was perfect.”
The hard work did however pay off. The festivities began with an assembly where students and staff competed in a Masked Singer competition. Everyone was remarkable but Mr. Wimbish stole the show. “The performances were all great, and it helped me get hyped up for Homecoming,” said Millan Ramesh, Class of 2029.
After the assembly, students headed to the field for activities including Gaga Ball, Spike Ball, and dunking their favorite history teacher. The event was overall a huge success and captured the Wolverine spirit.
