On Wednesday, Sept. 13, a group of students and faculty members gathered in HC 228 to celebrate the upcoming Jewish holiday, Rosh Hashanah, which begins at sunset on Friday, Sept. 15 and goes through sundown on Sunday, Sept. 17.
“It was fun and it was loud and very energetic,” Brianna Ebrahemi ’27 said. “There was also a lot of food there.”
The Jewish Culture and Antisemitism Awareness Club enjoyed many traditions of the holiday like dipping apples in honey, blowing and listening to the shofar, listening to live music played on the guitar, and eating the delicious and traditionally Jewish snacks provided.
