Olivia Rodrigo released her sophomore album “Guts” this past week, and it is filled with lots of great hits like “Logical.” But don’t listen to it while studying for math, because 2 plus 2 does NOT equal 5.

You can also listen to “Making the Bed,” in honor of national make your bed day! 🙂

MOVIE OF THE WEEK:

“Notting Hill” is a perfect movie! Did you know you can find the travel bookshop from the movie in the actual Notting Hill in London??

Camryn Banafsheha ’27 is a first year Spectrum reporter. She enjoys interviewing people, and she truly loves to write as a part of the journalism team. She started off writing as a hobby and loves to write formally for school. She writes the weekly Wolverweek, which gives an overview of the week’s events, athletics, and some funny fails from students. Banafsheha plans on joining the Chronicle at the upper school and to continue pursuing her passion for journalism.

Tali Gurule, Editor

Tali Gurule ’27 is an editor and reporter on the Spectrum. Gurule is passionate about news reporting. “I love uncovering compelling stories and sharing them with the Harvard-Westlake community,” Gurule said. Gurule also co-writes Wolverweek, a weekly column about life at the Middle School. Gurule enjoys many leadership positions at Harvard-Westlake. In addition to being editor of the Spectrum, she is co-chair of the student ambassador program and a leader of LAHSO and JCAAC.
