Bo Hardt named tennis program head

Bo Hardt, the current assistant boys tennis coach, has just been named the Boys Tennis Program Head. During this time the Wolverines have won the Mission League four times, are back-to-back CIF-SS Division I titles winning in 2017 and 2018 winning the State Regional Championship in 2018.

Hardt has a strong tennis coaching background and brings experience to the Wolverines. He plays professionally on the ATP tour and is nationally ranked in the US. Hardt is a certified Master Pro and works with professional athletes, DI college players and nationally ranked juniors.

Athletic Director is Terry Barnum is very happy to name Hardt as the new Program head, and feels that he will fit in perfectly. “We are extremely excited to have Bo Hardt take over the leadership of our boys tennis program,” said Terry Barnum, Head of Athletics. “He has played a major role in the recent success of our team and he has earned the respect and trust of our athletes and their families. He is the right person to carry on the legacy of Harvard-Westlake Tennis.”

Hardt also commented on the subject, saying that he is honored to be taking this position. “I am honored to be named the boys tennis program head at Harvard-Westlake,” said Hardt. “After enjoying my experience coaching alongside my great friend Chris Simpson, I am ready to take the lead. I will be focusing on expanding player development while continuing the tradition of excellence and success we have built in recent years.”
