Free cinnabon rolls from Cinnabon, provided by the Student Council, were distributed during break on Oct. 27, the last day of the first quarter. Students lined up on the Horn Commons to acquire the treats passed out by Student Council senators.
Student Council members said that they thought that it would be a nice gesture to give out the cinnamon rolls.
“It’s a first quarter gift that we thought would be nice for everyone to enjoy as a reward for finishing so strongly,” ninth grade senator Jonothan Cosgrove ’21 said.
According to Cosgrove, Student Council is planning on supplying treats when each quarter comes to an end.
Student Council bought 50 boxes (about 800 rolls) and were left with only a few boxes at the end of break. The cinnamon rolls seemed to be a hit as students engaged with peers while indulging in the pastry.
“I’m really thankful as the cinnabons are good snacks that are very cinnamon-y, sweet and everyone likes them,” Julianna Ross ’22 said.
