The Middle School aired the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20 in the Saperstein Theatre.
Throughout the day, students came in and out of the theatre to listen to commentary from reporters and watch the ceremony.
“The Inauguration only happens once every four years, so it is special. It is important for people to see their new president from the start,” Andrew Cho ’21 said.
Students also watched to listen to President Donald Trump’s inaugural speech.
“It was really good. I thought [Trump’s speech]  was a good step toward unifying the divide that was created during the past year in the road to his election,” Jake Kelly  ’20 said.
While watching the inauguration, students had different hopes for the coming four years.
“At this point, since he is going to be our president, all you can really hope is that he does well for our country,” Erik Anderson ’20 said.
