The annual Student Council Spring event, on March 14, featured laser tag, mango lassis, fun games, and a special addition this year, student guest from schools affected by wildfires.
“Pasadena Waldorf
brought the most students with about 20 kids. It was great that many non Harvard Westlake students could make it,” said Director of Student Affairs Sarah Tooke ‘04.
Hannah Byatt ’28, who helped at the event, enjoyed meeting new people and made an effort to ensure the visiting students felt welcome and comfortable.
“It was really nice that the student council and the school invited people affected by the fires, because they can’t have this type of fun event at their schools,” Byatt said.
“This was a meaningful event for not only our community, but for other students as well,” Tooke said. “I’m thrilled with how it went.” Tooke said
